 Woodland is a peaceful, big “small town” of 52,000 residents with a rich agricultural legacy. It is the seat of Yolo County, and features a historic downtown section with lovely old houses and tree lined streets. There are 160 acres of public parks, good schools, and a sense of community as well as proximity to Sacramento International Airport, San Francisco, Napa Valley and Lake Tahoe. Located 10 miles from UCDavis, it is attractive for its housing which tends to cost 15 – 20% less than Davis housing.
